We have to do better than this.
Sometimes I can't help but feel bad for some traders.
They spend hours perfecting a "bulletproof" trading strategy...
... Only to take trades they don't trust or fully understand.
(And the market can tell they lack conviction.)
They’re in a constant state of anxiety because they don’t believe in their process, but they keep forcing trades anyway.
Permanently misaligned.
Permanently stuck in self-doubt.
Telling themselves they’re “doing it for their loved ones.”
But when they’re with their loved ones, they’re not even present.
They’re glued to their screen, watching every tick, thinking this trade might be the one.
So they obsess over their next move...
Only to get stopped out again.
Their Instagram shows off their "trader lifestyle," but when someone asks how it's going, they can’t help but cringe.
They sugarcoat the truth because deep down, they’re living a lie.
They can’t rest because they’ve convinced themselves they need to be in the market every day - or risk falling behind.
They tell themselves they’re living the dream, but the only difference between them and a 9-5 worker is that the 9-5 worker doesn’t wake up at 3 AM to check their trades.
I know all these things.
Because I was that guy.
The change didn’t come from some magic indicator or signal group.
It came from one place:
A decision.
I stopped "researching."
"Tweaking..."
"Simulating..."
"Waiting for the perfect setup..."
And just manned up and realized I needed to change.
To stop being reckless and start trading like a professional.
Nobody is coming to save you.
Not your signals provider, your mentor, or your favorite trading book.
It’s just you. And the opportunity to take control is still there.
Take it now while you still can.
